Larsson has missed the last two games with a hamstring strain he sustained in the local derby defeat against Aston Villa on 13th September whilst Carr was forced to miss the Carling Cup Third Round tie against Sunderland on Tuesday night having aggravated a thigh injury during last weekend's 1-0 away win at Hull City.
However, Blues boss Alex McLeish is confident of having both players available for selection for the match against Bolton at St Andrews on Saturday.
Left-back Gregory Vignall is also close to full fitness after missing the last
six matches with the hamstring injury he sustained in the first home match of the season against Portsmouth on 19th August.
"We should have Stephen Carr available for selection and are confident about Seb Larsson's chances too," McLeish has said.
"There is also an outside chance that Gregory Vignal will come back into the frame too."
Larsson & Carr To Return?
McLeish will also have on-loan Finland international midfielder Teemu Tainio
available for selection again. Tainio missed the game against his parent club Sunderland because he was cup-tied.
