Morrison's excellent finish just four minutes into the World Cup qualifier in Tel Aviv looked to have secured all three points for Kerr's side until substitute Abas Suan struck in the final minute of the game to earn the hosts a share-of-the-spoils. "Goals in international football are precious and he has got three vital ones for us in this campaign so far," the Ireland boss added.
"His finish was excellent," Kerr said of the Blues strikers goal.
"He showed great technique with the ball coming onto his left foot and into the near post the way it did.
"After that he worked hard, although I don't think his sharpness was what it could be if he was playing week in and week out at his club."
The goal was Morrisons first in 13 international games and his eighth in total for his country but Kerr outlined the importance of the Blues strikers last three strikes.
