The Blues right-back, who has spent the last five months of the season on loan at Stoke City, has been named in Ireland coach Giovanni Trapattoni's 25-man squad for the game against the Nigerians at Fulham's Craven Cottage stadium on Friday, 29th May.
Trapattoni will reduce his squad to 22 players for Ireland's 2010 World Cup qualifier against Bulgaria in Sofia on Saturday, 6th June.
