Kenny Cunningham and Clinton Morrison were both named in the starting eleven for the Republic of Ireland's international friendly against Poland.
The Blues pair were named in manager Brian Kerr's side for the international friendly in Bydgoszcz which ended in a goalless draw.
Cunningham skippered the side in this his 54th appearance for his country and played for the full ninety minutes whilst Morrison, making his 18th appearance for the Republic, was substituted two minutes from the end of the game.
Blues keeper Maik Taylor was once again named skipper of the Northern Ireland side in their a 1-1 draw against Serbia and Montenegro in Belfast. James Quinn's 18th minute goal cancelling out Veljko Paunovic's seventh minute opener for the visitors.
Taylor played for the first forty five minutes before being replaced by Manchester Utd keeper Roy Carroll at half time.
Olivier Tebily's Ivory Coast defeated Guinea 4-2 in their international friendly game played in Aix-les-Bains in France. Arsenal defender Kolo Toure was amongst the goalscorers for the Elephants.
