I have had injury problems and I am still finding my way back. "I have got my head down and got fit and I feel happier. I think Eric Black is pleased with me, but Coventry's rise up the table has had little to do with me. "They would have got to where they are anyway because they are a good side. The Blues left-back had played just one game for the Sky Blues since extending his loan spell at Highfield Road into a second month but with Blues boss Steve Bruce short on numbers for the trip to Middlesbrough on saturday Grainger was recalled.
"I have heard nothing about whether or not I will be playing, but being called back from Coventry came as a big surprise to me," the popular full-back said.
"In another sense it is disappointing because I am leaving Coventry while they are in a good position.
If Grainger does make the team it will be his first full team appearance for 15 months. His last game for Steve Bruce's side came in the home defeat to Arsenal last January when he appearaed as substitute in the 4-0 defeat.
