Defender Queudrue and forward McFadden both sustained muscle tears in the local derby game against Aston Villa at St Andrews on Sunday. "We have lost Franck and McFadden for the foreseeable future," the Blues manager told the Birmingham Mail. "Both have muscle tears. I am not going to put any target dates on it at all. "It's not ideal, obviously, but we will just have to get on with it.
McLeish is as yet unsure as to the length of time he expects to be without the pair.
"They will be back when they're back.
"It's up to the players who replace them to show what they can do."
