The Finland international is keen to end speculation surrounding his future and just concentrate on his football until the time comes when a decision has to be made as to where he plays his football for the rest of this season and beyond. "If everything goes well and everyone is happy, the club and myself, I would not mind staying at Birmingham for the rest of the season. "However, I did sign a new four-year contract at Chelsea just two days before I came here. "I was happy to do it, but you never know what will happen in football. Things can happen quickly, but it is too early to talk now. "I think after this season is over is the time I have to make my decision. Chelsea will know then what they want from me as well."
"I really would just like to concentrate on my football and take it one game at a time,," said Forssell.
Forssell, who has bagged four goals since arriving from Chelsea, is currently on a four month loan spell at St. Andrews, although the club have revealed they have an agreement to extend that deal until the end of the season in January.
