"Chelsea have received many enquiries about me, but I am still a Chelsea player," he said. "I haven't heard anything about Monchengladbach or any other clubs.
Forssell, six weeks into a four month loan spell at St. Andrew's from Chelsea, was reportedly interesting German side Bayer Leverkusen last week in a swap deal involving Brazilian defender Lucio heading in the opposite direction to Stamford Bridge.
However, the Finland international forward has confirmed he knew nothing about these stories.
"Rumours and speculation are part of football but, for example, I heard about Leverkusen's interest from Finnish media," he added.
Forssell, on the scoresheet for Finland in their 3-2 international friendly win against Canada at the weekend, will not be in the Blues side for the Premiership clash with Chelsea on Tuesday evening. Part of the deal when he joined Blues from the London side was that he plays no part in the re-arranged fixture at St. Andrew's.
