The £2.5 million signing from Rosario Central has made just one substitutes appearance for Steve Bruce's first team this season but his Reserve team form has been terrific - seven goals in eight games for Keith Bertschin's side. "I am willing to play right away," he told the B'ham Evening Mail. "But, of course, it depends on the manager and I am okay with that. "I am waiting for him to decide the right time. "I do not feel frustrated. I understand that it was always going to take a while and that the football here is very strong, so that makes it harder for me.
Now the 22-year-old admits he is waiting patiently for the challenge of regular Premiership football.
"When I came here I got injured and wasn't training for a long time, I had a lot of catching up to do."
Figueroa is currently sidelined with a hamstring strain sustained during training on Thursday and forcing him to withdraw from the Reserves side that drew 0-0 with Liverpool that same night. He is expected to be out of action for two to three weeks.
