Figueroa, who joined Blues from Rosario Central in the summer for £2.5million, is to sign for Mexican side Cruz Azul FC for an undisclosed fee.
A regular in Keith Bertschins Reserves side, Figueroa made just two appearances in the the Blues full team - once in the Carling Cup tie at Blackpool and a substitutes appearance aginst Portsmouth in the Premier league.
