"Craig did well for us, but unfortunately could not provide the goals we needed to improve results over his month with us," Wilson told the Bristol City official website.
"That was partly down to the way the team performed. We weren't at our best while Craig was with us.
"I want to thank him for his efforts and wish him well for the future. We need to seek a more experienced player at this stage of the season."
