A statement on the FA's website, www.thefa.com, confirmed: "At today's hearing at St Andrews, in light of evidence presented by the FA, Birmingham City FC revised their plea to guilty in relation to two charges of misconduct.
"These charges relate to crowd disorder during the home match against Aston Villa on September 16, 2002.
"Birmingham City have been fined £25,000 and warned as to future conduct."
