On Saturday 3rd January 2004 Sky Sports will screen the Watford v Chelsea game live with a 12.30pm kick-off.
BBC1 will be showing Southampton v Newcastle United live at 5.35pm.
On the following day, Sunday 4th January 2004, the BBC will show the Yeovil Town v Liverpool game live at 1.00pm.
Sky Sports will be screening live the Leeds United v Arsenal tie at 4.05pm.
The significance in this is that surely the Blues third round tie against Blackburn Rovers at St. Andrews or Villa's game against Manchester Utd at Villa Park will have to be re-arranged. Very rarely does it occur when both Birmingham sides play at home on the same day!
