The Blues record signing appears to have rushed back from the injury that kept him out of the Blues side that drew at Chelsea the week before the Wimbledon game and is now expected to be missing for the next three weeks.
Stephen Clemence, who missed the Dons game, will also be missing from the Blues side for this weekends clash against Newcastle at St. Andrews with a calf injury. The club have confirmed that Clem is likely to be sidelined for a further ten days at least.
Some good news on the injury front coming out of St. Andrews however is the return to full training of Christophe Dugarry. The French striker as not played since the 4-0 defeat to Blackburn back on December 6th but he has stepped up his training this week and is on course for a return to the squad for next weekends live television clash with Manchester City.
