Dugs sets sights higher

'Le God' has he's known to the Blues faithful, joined Blues in January from Bordeaux and was influential in helping drag the club away from the relegation zone with some important goals and match-winning displays.

However, the French striker is hoping for a season that doesn't involve being anywhere near the bottom three this time around.

"We need to progress every year and we will try and progress this year again. We finished in 13th position last year and we will try to finish in the top ten teams this time," he told the Birmingham Post

"I think it will be a good season for the club and the most important thing is to progress.

"I am looking forward to it and I think it will be a good season for the Blues. We have the same spirit and same mentality as last season. That was the most important thing for us and the fans."
