The French striker, who has been plagued all season by a knee injury, has cited family reasons for his decision to leave the club. "Football in England is great," he told French newspaper, L'Equipe. "I still have an excellent relationship with Steve Bruce but, frankly, I was living alone for six months because my family didn't adapt and school for my son was a major trouble. "As the club has nothing to hope for, or to fear, we negotiated calmly. "I don't regret that experience. I had a lot of fun on the pitch, but now it was not possible any more on a human level. "It is a family choice. However, I am perfectly fit and I don't know where I will play next season. "But I know I will ask my family before making a choice."
"Life in England is very difficult, except in London.
