The French striker underwent surgery on a knee injury just after Blues' first Premiership game of the season against Spurs and has sat out the last two games against Southampton and Newcastle.
Blues decided to let Dugarry have the operation knowing that there was a Premiership break because of international fixtures and were hoping he would be fit for a return by the time the televised home game against Fulham came around this Sunday, September 14th.
However, early signs appear to be that he will not be ready in time for this weekend and may have to wait until the away game at Leeds on 20th September before returning.
