Dugarry committed to Blues

Blues have yet to win a game since Dugarry's loan move from Bordeaux in January and supporters saw his frustration during the recent home defeat to Chelsea, but Bruce insists the fans favourite will be trying as hard as everyone else at the club to ensure Blues stay in the Premiership.

"Christophe came here with his eyes wide open. He knew exactly what he was getting himself into," the Blues boss told the B'ham Evening Mail.

"He was aware we aren't one of the top teams pushing for the title.

"And he joined us when we were in the middle of an horrendous run of fixtures and were struggling with injuries.

"I think what people should remember is that Christophe is a passionate person who likes winning. When that doesn't happen, he gets tremendously disappointed. It hurts him. But that's not to say he then gives it all up, not at all.

He's committed to this club, committed to doing well and up for the fight. He'll be fine, don't worry about that."

I feel that with the fixtures Blues have remaining between now and the end of the season, which are mostly against the sides we would have expected to pick up points from at the start of the season, we will see how good a player Dugarry is - he caused potential Premiership champions Arsenal problems , so what will he do to these sides!
