The French striker was stretchered off the field 10 minutes from the end of Blues' last match against Wolves with a twisted knee and it was first thought he would be sidelined for about two weeks meaning he would have to sit out the game with the Gunners, the side he made his Blues debut against in January.
However, coach Mark Bowen has told the Birmingham Post that Dugarry's injury is not thought to be as bad as first feared and he is confident of making the game against Arsenal at St. Andrew's next Saturday provided there is no further reaction to the injury.
