Bruce has confirmed that the versatile Northern Ireland international, who has one year remaining on his present deal, has been offered a new three year deal by the club and that he expects things to be finalised by the end of next week.
Since joining the club from Blackburn two-and-a-half years ago, DJ has become a big favourite with the Blues fans because of his tireless performances when he has played in every position apart from goalkeeper, centre-half and centre-forward. If he was a little taller I'm sure he would have probably played there too by now!
