The two international midfielders have missed Blues' last two fixtures against Bolton and Charlton through injury, Savage with a recurring Achilles problem and DJ with a hamstring strain.
However, the pair have stepped up training this week and are almost certain to figure in manager Steve Bruces 16-man squad for the first ever Premiership clash between the two sides at the Molineux, in front of the Sky Sports camera's, on Saturday lunchtime.
