"Everyone, more or less, is fit," Bruce told the Birmingham Evening Mail.
"We have done well in pre-season but there are going to be people who will be disappointed this Saturday because they're not in the side.
"I can only pick 11 players and we need to make the squad as good and as strong as it can be for a long season.
"We had 32 players last year. Before Saturday's game I will have one or two difficult decisions to make but they will all get their chance this season."
