The midfielder, who is on a season long loan deal at St Andrew's from Liverpool, has been named in Senegal coach Guy Stephan's 20-man squad for the World Cup qualifier against Liberia in Dakar on March 26th.
Diao was forced to sit out Senegals last international game against Cameroon last month through injury.
