Diao Heading Back To Liverpool

The Senegal international midfielder has been plagued with an ongoing calf injury and has managed just two starts since arriving on a season long loan deal from Liverpool back in January and manager Steve Bruce has confirmed that because of this the club are unlikely to be interested in signing the player come the end of the loan spell.

Meanwhile Bruce has confirmed that, along with midfielder Stephen Clemence, Blues have also offered a new deal to utility player Olivier Tebily.

As with Clemence, Tebily is about to enter the final twelve months of his existing contract.
