Competition for midfield places in Steve Bruce's side has intensified with the recent signings of Stephen Clemence and David Dunn and Devs could see himself spending more time on the substitutes bench than he would like.
Devs, who was also rumoured to be interesting West Brom earlier in the summer, still has two years to run on his present contract and it is likely Blues will be looking for a fee should they decide to part with the popular winger.
