Francis had claimed Adebola's wage demands were too high after he had impressed his former manager during a trial period at Selhurst Park.

But Palace chairman Simon Jordan has said a deal has now been reached in time for Adebola to face Portsmouth on Saturday.

"The deal has been concluded and he is having a medical. It is a one-year contract and we are pleased to have him," said Jordan.
