The Blues' summer signing from Coventry City has not played a first team game this season having sustained a thigh injury during the pre-season match against Dagenham & Redbridge at the end of July.
However, Blues boss Alex McLeish has confirmed that the centre-back has now begun training again and is likely to feature in Blues' second string game against The Hammers at Bishorps Stortford on Tuesday, 8th September.
"Scott has started to train again," McLeish has told the Birmingham Mail.
"He will play next week for the reserves at West Ham United."
