Blues Reserves side went into the game at Griffin Park on Monday night without a win in their opening seven Barclays Premier Reserves League South fixtures but under the guidance of a new coach they gained their first win of the campaign.

The home side took the lead on 17 minutes through Fabio Borini.

James O'Shea levelled for Blues 12 minutes before the half interval and Jake Jervis scored the all-impotant winner with 16 minutes of the match remaining.

Blues could, and should, of added to their tally in the dying moments but Gary McSheffrey shot wide of the post when well placed.
