Four goals in six games for Forssell have seen clubs queuing up for the strikers signature but he seems content in seeing out the rest of the season at Blues once his initial four month loan deal from Chelsea expires at the end of the year. “Being at Chelsea it was difficult for him to get a regular game and that’s the reason he hasn’t really made it until now. “He went to Germany on loan at Borussia Moenchengladbach last year for four months and did really well there, and he’s come back with loads of confidence. “He’s always been a confident lad but you need games in order to perform – not just here and there. “But now he is playing and playing well, and he’s been winning points for Birmingham. “He can play alone up front or as part of a two, and he seems to have everything you need to be a top striker. “He’s a strong lad with very good movement and he’s very skilful with the ball. But he’s also good at holding it up and is a good target man to aim for. “I think he will show what a good striker he is over the next few years.”
“Mikael’s a great player and we’ve known that for a long time in Finland," Johansson told his clubs official website.
“I did play alongside Mikael against Azerbaijan last month, and it only proved to me what a talent he is.
