Carter Rewarded

The 21-year-old Blues midfielder made ten appearances for Mick McCarthy's Championship winning side during a three month loan spell at the Stadium of Light between September and December last year.

That number of appearances wasn't enough to warrant Carter receiving an official Football League winners' medal and so Sunderland chiefs awarded the England Under 21 international with the specially commissioned medal.
