Carter keeps his place

The call-up is further recognition for the highly-rated 18-year-old who scored in his last Under-20 appearance - a 5-3 England defeat against Italy at The Stadium of Light last month.

The Under-20 international takes place at West Hams Upton Park ground next Thursday, December 12th.


Under-20's squad: Ambrose (Ipswich), Bent (Ipswich), Bowditch (Tottenham), Carruthers (N'thampton), Carter (Birmingham), Cole (Chelsea), Davenport (Coventry), Dawson (Nottingham Forest), Garry (Arsenal), Grant (Derby), Hoyte (Arsenal), Johnson (Millwall), Lonergan (Preston), Moore (Aston Villa), Morgan (Wimbledon), O'Neil (Portsmouth), Thomas (Arsenal) and Tonge (Sheffield United).
