Eleven managers plus Sky pundit Andy Gray have teamed up with leading bookmakers in a bid to raise £100,000 in aid of the children’s charity the NSPCC and the Blues boss shot to the top of the leader board after the first day of the tipping competition on Saturday.
The manager's all began with a kitty of £7,000 and Bruce, sponsored by bookmakers Stan James, picked out three decent priced winners!
The Blues boss had £250 each-way on Peak To Creek which won at 7-2, the same bet on Whaleef which also won at 10-1 and his third selection, Commanche Hero, came in first at 5-1 with Bruce laying £500 each way on that.
