"I always knew that Christophe was not a natural goalscorer when he came here but I also knew that he could give us something else - and he has," said Bruce.
"I have been delighted with him over the past two months and when you see him on the training ground some of the stuff he produces is mind-blowing.
"Like I've said, the first job I will do if we stay up is to make Christophe my priority and we'll do our utmost to keep him here.
"He's a top player and they don't come around very often."
