The Finland international bagged his fifth goal of the campaign at Wolves on Saturday but the Blues boss wants others to start chipping in with a few to take the burden off Forssell.
"To be fair to Mikael he's done exceptionally well since he came here," Bruce said after the 1-1 draw at the Molineux.
"The one thing we've got to do, as a team, is take the burden off him because he has scored the goals for us, which have helped us.
"We've got to chip-in elsewhere though to be better than what we are at the moment.
"Thats the one area that we can improve on. We're trying to do that but we all know thats the most difficult part of it."
