Bruce Keen On Toon Midfielder

Blues boss Steve Bruce, keeping up his reluctance to speak about possible transfer targets that are still under contract with their clubs, has admitted that he is a big admirer of the former Charlton and Leeds United midfielder.
"I am not going to reveal my number one target because that would be unfair of me but you can rest assured that we are working hard to try and do something," the Blues boss has said.
"Lee Bowyer is a player I admire. I like him a lot and we will see what develops over the next few weeks."
