The Blues co-owner was speaking after the humiliating 7-0 home defeat to Liverpool in the FA Cup on Tuesday night, a performance he described as 'appalling'. "But there will be a major rethink if we do stay up. He added: “What happened against Liverpool was appalling and depressing. It was the worst defeat in the 13 years I've been at the club and it hurts. “I know we have a lot of injuries but we still have to do better. You could probably have picked players from an average League Two team and they would have done better than that. “It's going to be very difficult to get anything from our next two games but we will live or die on our last seven games. “I won't be talking to the players. They know this season has not been good enough and Tuesday was our worst performance of the lot. "The whole team were poor. We've got to be more up for it.”
“I've reassured Steve and he knows he's OK," he said.
"If we stay up we need to get rid of players.
