Bruce fuming over referees decision

Bruce upset with ref!
Livingston's Emmanuel Dorado and Blues' Paul Devlin were both red-carded by referee Dougie McDonald in separate incidents in the second half of the 2-1 win for the home side.

This was Blues' first of three friendly games in Scotland but Bruce reckons the trips north-of-the-border aren't worth the bother if it means being left without players.

He said: "For an hour we had a very good game and it was enjoyable until we were both down to 10 men and it was a bit farcical after that.

"I'm devastated. I keep coming back to Scotland and I try to bring my teams up here every year, but I'm seriously thinking about not coming back again after this.

"There were two sending-offs in a pre-season friendly when all that was needed was some common sense in all directions.

"We're robbed of a player now who could be suspended for three games and that's the last thing we want.

"This is three or four times now. I enjoy coming up to Scotland for the games but I'm seriously wondering now if it's worth it.

"The referee didn't even see the incident and he took the word of a linesman who was 50 yards away."
