In the goalkeeping department Maik Taylor has taken over the number one jersey from Ian Bennett whilst defenders Olivier Tebily and Matthew Upson have been given shirt numbers 2 and 5 respectively - numbers once occupied by Jeff Kenna and Darren Purse who have now left the club.
New signing Muzzy Izzet has taken Aliou Cisse's number 6 shirt, Jesper Gronkjaer is number 7, Emile Heskey number 16, Julian Gray number 21 and Mario Melchiot number 29.
David Dunn now has the number 10 shirt vacated by Bryan Hughes' summer departure to Charlton.
