The 28-year-old Uruguayian striker has signed for Blues on a season long loan deal with the deal being concluded minutes before the closing of the transfer window at midnight on monday.
Pandiani, who is described as a burly English-style centre-forward, noted for his strength in the air, became Blues' seventh signing of the january transfer window and the fourth loanee - the maximum two-loan rule only applies to deals between British clubs.
