After a one week break from League action because of last weeks Birmingham Senior Cup tie at Boldmere St Michaels, Keith Bertschins side will be looking to continue a recent good run of form against Forest at Damson Park.
There was no fixture between the two sides last season as Forest were not in the Barclays Premier Reserves League north division but Blues won the reverse fixture this season 1-0 at The City Ground courtesy of a late strike from Jamie Clapham.Recent encounters between the teams: 2004/2005 17th Aug Forest Res 0 -1 BluesRes PREM
Blues Reserves have won seven and drawn three of their opening thirteen league games this season. A total of 17 goals have been scored in those games, with 13 conceded.
Forest Reserves have won only two of their first ten fixtures and drawn three. They have managed to score just five goals in these games whilst 12 have hit the back of the wrong net.
Blues' 24 points from 13 games sees them lying in fifth place in the Barclays Premiership Reserves League (North) table. Nottingham Forest currently occupy thirteenth place in the division. Their ten games have yielded just 9 points.
