Blues Pair Vow To Fight For Place

The international duo, unable to command a regular place this season, have both emphasised their intentions to prove to the Blues boss their worthiness of first team starts.
Republic of Ireland international Morisson, who's only start for the first team this season was in the embarrassing Carling Cup defeat at Blackpool, has put his lack of starts down to missing a large chunk of pre-season training due to the shoulder injury he picked up towards the end of last season.
Meanwhile Trinidad and Tobago international forward John, a rumoured target for Midlands neighbours West Brom, has managed just three Premiership starts this season after finishing the last two seasons as Blues top scorer.
Both are going to find it difficult to dislodge French striker Christophe Dugarry and on-loan Mikael Forssell from the starting eleven and until injuries or suspensions kick-in are unlikely to challenge that pairing as Steve Bruce's main strike force.
