This weekends media reports suggest Blues could be interested in prizing away Parlour from Arsenal should Robbie Savage turn down the new deal he has already said he had verbally agreed with Blues.
Everton once again are being linked with a move for Blues' charismatic midfielder even though manager Steve Bruce stated last week that their interest had died down.
If Savage rejects the new offer then the papers are suggesting Parlour, who is due a testimonial season at Highbury this season, could be the man to replace him in the centre of Blues midfield.
