The game against the U's on Saturday, August 5th will see Blues' new signing Neil Danns come up against his former club.
Two away games then follow with Blues travelling to Sunderland on Tuesday, 8th August and then Stoke on the second Saturday of the new season.
The first local derby of the season takes place at St Andrew's against West Brom on Saturday, 28th October whilst the first game against Wolves is also at home on 18th November.
The festive season will see Blues entertain QPR at St Andrew's on Boxing Day with a long trip to Ipswich Town scheduled for New Years Day.
The season winds-up with an away trip to Preston on Sunday 6th May.
