According to their official website, Sevilla have 'rejected' the offer to sign the Danish international winger leaving Blues as the only reported club to have had a bid accepted by Chelsea.
Gronkjaer has been on holiday over the past week or so following his involvement in the Euro 2004 finals in Portugal and his agent explained at the end of last week that he expects his player to decide on where his future lies early this week.
If Blues pull-off the signing of Gronkjaer then they would have managed to have signed the five targets that manager Steve Bruce identified to the board that he would like to bring to the club during the close season - Mario Melchiot, Muzzy Izzet, Emile Heskey and Julian Gray are already on board.
