Blues In 5th Place

Last updated : 09 November 2003 By Brian Cartlidge

Leicester Citys surprise 3-0 win at Manchester City and Liverpool's home loss to Manchester Utd means Blues have only fallen one place in the table following the draw at Wolves on Saturday.

Blues began the weekend in fourth place but Charlton's 3-1 win over Fulham on Saturday saw them leapfrog from 7th to 4th with Blues dropping a place to fifth after their single point at the Molineux.

With only the Blackburn v Everton fixture on Monday night remaining before the break for international fixtures, Blues will stay in 5th place up until 22nd November at the earliest when they take on top-of-the-table Arsenal at St Andrew's.
