The Slovakian international striker spent a time on trial with Blues last winter but was not signed on a permanent deal with manager Steve Bruce promising to keep tabs on the 21-year-year-olds progress.
Despite speculation of renewed interest from Bruce over the summer, the Blues boss seems to have cooled his interest and Rovers have offered the striker a trial at Ewood Park.
"We have invited him over for an assessment and trial next week but that's as far as it's gone at this stage," Rovers chief executive John Williams told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
