Randolph ready to rumble
Birmingham boss Lee Clark could hand a debut to as many as 10 players when they host Watford.
Darren Randolph is expected to start in goal following Jack Butland's move to Barclays Premier League outfit Stoke.
Kyle Bartley, Dan Burn and Neal Eardley are all vying for a place in defence, while midfielders Tom Adeyemi, Shane Ferguson, Andrew Shinnie, Scott Allan and Oliver Lee will be hoping for inclusion.
Former Mansfield player Matt Green could be given the nod in attack as Clark prepares to unveil his new-look squad following a busy summer at St Andrews.
Watford boss Gianfranco Zola will be hoping his side can shake off last season's play-off final disappointment.
Zola has been busy strengthening his squad following their Wembley defeat to Crystal Palace as he looks to mount another promotion challenge.
A number of last season's loanees from Granada and Udinese, including Joel Ekstrand, Ikechi Anya, Cristian Battocchio and Daniel Pudil, have all agreed to a permanent switch.
The Hornets have also brought in some new faces from the Serie A side. Defender Gabriele Angella, full-back Marco Davide Faraoni, forward Diego Fabbrini and Paraguayan striker Javier Acuna could all make their debuts following summer moves.
