Barrowman, who scored on his full debut for the Railwaymen at Derby County last weekend, is in line to make his full home debut for Dario Gradi's side when they play host to Preston on Tuesday night.
And its the Alex's boss that has impressed the Blues youngster mostly since his move to Gresty Road on an initial one months loan two weeks ago.
"As soon as he walks into the room you can tell the players respect him. He just has an aura about him," said the 18 year-old Scot.
"I came here because of Dario and the reputation Crewe have. You just have to look at the number of players who have gone onto play at international level after starting here, and obviously Dario is the main reason for that.
"Im here for a month intially and then we will see where it goes from there. If I do well and Crewe are happy, I'd like to extend it."
