AJ Enquiry Snubbed

A statement on the clubs official website has confirmed that Blues had asked the London club whether the former Blues striker was to be made available for transfer but were told that AJ was not for sale and therefore no bid was made and they will now be looking at other possible transfer targets

Johnson was sold to Palace three seasons ago as part of the deal that saw Clinton Morrison move from Selhurst Park to St Andrew's.

Despite Palace's relegation back to the Football League after just one season in the top-flight, the 24-year-old striker bagged 21 goals in his first Premier League season and has recently been named in the full England international squad.
